Where is the event located and where can I park?

Black and White 2024 will be held at The Restoration Asheville in downtown Asheville, located at 68 Patton Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801. Guests are encouraged to ride share to the venue, as parking at the surrounding parking decks is limited and not included in the price of each ticket.

What time can I access The Restoration Asheville?

Platinum Experience guests will be welcomed into The Draftsman Bar + Lounge at the lower level of The Restoration at 6pm, where they will have access to VIP amenities, including specialized heavy hors d'oeuvres and a full open bar.

General Admission guests will be welcomed to the gala at 7:30pm, being welcomed with heavy hors d'oeuvres and libations.

What is the Platinum Experience?

The Platinum Experience is THE exclusive pre-party! Pre-gala open bar, a fabulous signature drink, live music, and passed hors d'oeuvres. When you purchase this exclusive package, you will also receive a hand-delivered gift prior to the auction and a lovely takeaway gift the evening of the event. This experience has a VERY LIMITED capacity so get your tickets ASAP.

Where can I purchase tickets?

All tickets to the 2024 Gala can be purchased on this site. Tickets are limited, so be sure to secure your spot at this year’s premier fundraising event and purchase tickets early.

Will there be event check-in and registration?

Event check-in and registration is necessary for all ticket holders at all auction events. Upon check-in you will receive your bidding paddle for the Live Auction portion of the evening.
In order to expedite the completion of your auction purchases at the end of the night, we strongly recommend you register your credit card in advance. This can be done online or at check-in the night of the event.

Will online/mobile bidding be available?

All mobile bidding auction items will be done using your smartphone, so come to the event fully charged! We encourage you to pre-register your mobile number, which will allow you access to online bidding the day before the event and will also decrease your check-in time.
Should you need assistance during the Gala, volunteers will be available to answer your questions and assist you with mobile bidding.

When can I start bidding?

If you pre-register your mobile device, you will receive a text message before the events begin asking for confirmation of your name and bidder number. Click the link in the automated text message to log in and start bidding!

Do I have to be present to bid?

If you are unable to attend the Black and White Gala but still want to join in on the bidding, you will be able to register and do so remotely. You must be present at the Gala to bid on Live Auction Items.

How do I get my purchases home?

After payment and check-out, your winning purchases can be picked up at the designated area at the event. In the event that you win an item online and you are not present, someone from CDS will reach out to connect you with your item. Not all items will be available to be shipped.
