Raise the Paddle

Join us for an unforgettable evening and help support our school's financial aid program!

A "Raise the Paddle" event is a lively and engaging fundraiser designed to support a specific cause—in this case, our school’s financial aid program. The evening will start with a warm welcome, where you'll have the chance to mingle and enjoy appetizers and drinks with fellow attendees. Then, our program will kick off, highlighting the impact of your contributions with powerful stories about how financial aid has made a difference for students in need. But the heart of the event comes when it's time for "Raise the Paddle." This is when attendees, like you, are invited to raise your paddle (or bid card) to make a direct donation to support our financial aid program. Every dollar raised goes toward helping students access a quality education. It’s an evening of giving, celebration, and making a real impact in the lives of our students!

Want to get the momentum going?  Raise the Paddle BEFORE the event and help us raise as much as possible to Share the Promise and continue the fundraising tradition at CDS. If you donate before April 11th, your name will be added to the program as a Financial Aid Champion!

Can't attend? That's ok! You can still give by donating online through our Share the Promise website.

Our "Raise the Paddle" event will be emceed by Darron Meares who is the 2013-14 South Carolina Bid Calling Grand Champion and a 2018 South Carolina Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame inductee.
