As part of Carolina Day School’s Masqued Gala 2022, you can enter our famous Gala Tuition Raffle. This opportunity only comes during Auction Gala years, and one lucky family could win $25,000 off 2022-23 school year tuition! You may enter to win tuition credit for your own family or designate your ticket to a family of your choice who is enrolled at CDS for the 2022-23 school year. The drawing will be held and the winner announced at the evening of the auction gala, April 30th.

In addition to our traditional Gala Tuition Raffle, new this year is a Family Night Hot Lunch Raffle! The lucky winner of this raffle gets a free lunch for one enrolled child every day hot lunch is offered during the 2022-23 school year—an estimated value of over $1,500! Hot Lunch Raffle will be drawn at Family Night on Thursday, April 28th.

CDS Raffle Rules:

1. Raffle ticket purchases are not tax deductible.

2. You may enter as many times as you wish.

3. All tickets can be paid for by check payable to CDS, ordered online, or through our tuition raffle co-chairs, Julie Holcomb and Karen Fuhrman.

4. You do not have to be present to win.

5. The IRS considers raffle winnings as income and all tax rules apply. 

Tuition Raffle Info & Rules:

1. Tickets are $100 each or three for $250.

2. Check and online entries must be received by noon on Friday, April 29, 2022 to be entered into the drawing.        

3. For those attending Masqued on April 30, tickets may be purchased in person up until the drawing.

4. The winner will receive a net tuition credit of up to $25,000 for one family account for the 2022-23 school year. If the tuition owed by the winner is less than $25,000, the winner will be credited by the amount of total tuition balance due. 

5. Tuition cannot be redeemed for cash and is good only for the 2022-23 school year for the family designated on the winning ticket at the time of purchase. Tickets must be designated at the time of purchase; tickets are not transferable after purchase. 

Hot Lunch Raffle Info & Rules:

1. Tickets for this raffle are $25 each or five for $100. 

2. Check and online entries must be received by noon on April 27, 2022.

3. For those attending Super Wildcat! Family Night on April 28, tickets may be purchased in person up until the drawing.

4. Using our online system “HotLunch Online,” the winner of this raffle will receive one entree for every day it is offered in the 2022-2023 school year.  

5. Lunch credit cannot be redeemed for cash and is good only for the 2022-23 school year for the family designated on the winning ticket at the time of purchase. Tickets must be designated at the time of purchase; tickets are not transferable after purchase.
